About
Arohi Nair

Hello! I’m Arohi Nair, currently a student at Yale University pursuing a BS in Computer Science and Economics. My academic journey, complemented by diverse work experiences and extracurricular activities, fuels my passion for consulting and exploring business and research applications across various fields.
I have taken on jobs in research labs, both in high school at Michigan State University and at Yale, where I worked at the Data-Intensive Social Science Center to analyze voter data and optimize databases for researchers from diverse backgrounds. My interdisciplinary approach to learning and problem-solving is a cornerstone of my academic and professional philosophy. During my time at Michigan State University, I conducted computational chemistry research, contributing to a significant project on PFAS compounds. This experience honed my ability to integrate knowledge from chemistry, computer science, and data analysis to tackle complex challenges.
I have recently shifted to a government position for FEMA, where I am involved in an asset management related research project. It has been really exciting to see the intersections of technology and cybersecurity with governmental processes and finance. I also hold a role as an analyst with the Yale Undergraduate Consulting Group, which has allowed me to work on exciting projects. This past semester, I worked with a Fortune 100 Tech company to investigate and write case studies on the impact of AI in multiple sectors, including energy, sustainability, and banking.
In my free time, I enjoy running and baking. I am currently undertaking the project of learning to make sourdough bread – wish me luck. I also love reading, playing the violin, and exploring new eateries with friends, discovering hidden culinary gems.
